On March 31 local time, the China (Shenzhen)–Australia (Sydney) Economic & Trade Cooperation Exchange was held in Sydney. Hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the event was designed to deepen collaboration between Shenzhen and Australia in trade, technological innovation, and industrial investment, while building consensus ahead of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting scheduled for November in Shenzhen.

The Shenzhen delegation was led by Mayor Qin Weizhong. Ye Wei, Counsellor of the Consulate General of China in Sydney, as well as representatives from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and business circles of both countries, attended the event and delivered remarks. Under the theme of "Openness, Innovation, and Cooperation," the Exchange featured face-to-face discussions between leading Shenzhen-based companies and Australian companies, exploring opportunities in technology, energy, green construction, modern agriculture, healthcare, and digital economy. During the event, 24 organizations reached 12 cooperative intentions and signed multiple agreements on-site.

CSCEC Science and Industry attended the exchange and took part in the signing ceremony as a Shenzhen-headquartered enterprise and a leader in prefabricated and green construction. The company signed an MOU on the Prefabricated Construction Industry Alliance with MCIA Consulting Pty Ltd of Australia. The MOU aims to deepen China–Australia cooperation in green building and industrial supply chains, and to promote the full-spectrum export of products, technologies, and brand expertise.

Following the Exchange, Mayor Qin Weizhong chaired a symposium with China-invested enterprises in Australia, where he received a briefing on CSCEC Science and Industry's development in Australia and the South Pacific region. He fully recognized the company's achievements and reaffirmed continued support for Shenzhen-based enterprises in their global expansion and high-quality overseas development. Building on the momentum of the Exchange, CSCEC Science and Industry will leverage its technological strengths and industrial capabilities to deepen collaboration with Australian partners, take part in infrastructure and green building projects in Australia, and drive deeper integration of the industrial and supply chains between China and Australia.
