On January 4, a ceremony was held to mark the completion and handover of the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Seaside Apartment Project, built by CSCEC Science and Industry. PNG Prime Minister James Marape congratulated all parties on the project’s completion and handover, and spoke highly of outstanding craftsmanship and professional commitment of CSCEC Science and Industry throughout the construction phase. He remarked that the successful handover of the project elevates the urban landscape and quality of life in Port Moresby, refines the city’s functional planning, strengthens confidence among local and foreign investors, and creates fresh impetus for employment and the expansion of related sectors. The Prime Minister underscored the project’s positive and profound impact on advancing PNG’s high-quality economic and social development, describing it as a significant milestone in PNG’s journey of urban modernization.

The event also included a foundation-laying ceremony for the project’s second phase, marking the commencement of the next stage of construction.Located in the Ela Beach reclamation area of Port Moresby, the PNG Seaside Apartment Project is a high-end commercial residential tower rising 79.5 meters, with a total floor area of 24,000 square meters spanning 22 above-ground floors. The project comprises 83 upscale apartments, a two-story parking facility, a single-level commercial and leisure area, and supporting amenities such as a swimming pool and a fitness center.
