Recently, the core tube structure of the Star Mountain Plaza Phase III in Papua New Guinea, built by CSCEC Science and Industry, was topped off. With a construction speed of "six days per floor," the project has set a new record for high-rise building construction in Papua New Guinea. The achievement was highlighted in a special report by POST COURIER, the country's leading mainstream media outlet.

John Tuaim, Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Papua New Guinea's Mineral Resources Development Company, highly affirmed the hard work of the CSCEC Science and Industry team and all project stakeholders. He expressed his appreciation for their tireless efforts to ensure the smooth progress of the project. He noted that the project team not only achieved several key engineering milestones at an unprecedented pace, but also made major strides in core tube construction speed and concrete pouring—marking a significant milestone for construction in the Port Moresby area. Tuaim spoke highly of the team's efficient organization and strong performance in meeting its commitments. He expressed confidence in the next phases of the project and looked forward to its timely and successful completion, which he believes will make a positive contribution to local development.

Located in Port Moresby, the Star Mountain Plaza Phase III stands 67.8 meters tall with a total floor area of about 21,000 square meters. The mixed-use development will house office space, performing arts centers, cinemas, and commercial facilities. Once completed, it will help improve urban amenities, boost the value of the core commercial district, and provide fresh momentum for high-quality economic and social development in the region.
