CSCEC Science and Industry has recently received CSA A277 modular product certification from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group), following its earlier CSA W47.1 welding enterprise certification and CSA A660 steel structure building system manufacturer certification.

CSA W47.1 sets strict standards for welding processes, personnel qualifications, and quality management, marking that CSCEC Science and Industry's welding operations, welder qualifications, and quality control systems meet Canadian welding requirements for steel structures. CSA A660 covers the entire process of steel structures—from design and material selection to fabrication and installation—ensuring that the building's "skeleton" complies with Canadian codes. CSA A277 is a certification program established for factory-built prefabricated buildings. From the perspectives of overall manufacturing, design management, and third-party audits, it ensures that building products fully comply with the National Building Code of Canada (NBC) and relevant regulatory requirements in the factory environment, making it the "entry ticket" for products to enter the Canadian market.
