    CSCEC Science and Industry has operations across the world. In China, it has five regional companies, four business divisions, and five modern steel structure manufacturing bases. With the annual production capacity of more than 1.2 million tons, CSCEC Science and Industry ranks the first in the industry. Besides, it has operations in many countries and regions in Asia, America, Europe, Africa and Oceania. In response to the country's supply-side structural reform, the company has reached strategic partnerships with many government agencies, large investors, major steel manufacturers, universities, R&D institutes, and financial institutions.

    CSCEC Science and Industry is famous for constructing “the high-tech, large and new” projects. Focusing on high-end housing construction and infrastructure projects, CCSIC has, in such models of professional contracting of steel structures, EPC and PPP, built a large number of landmark buildings in and out of China that are featured by large size, great difficulty and tight working schedule. It has created the “earliest”, “highest”, “largest” and “fastest” records in the history of steel structure construction in China. The Shenzhen Development Center Building constructed in 1985 is the first ultra-high steel structure building in China; Shanghai World Financial Center was then thehighestall-steel structure in the world; Tianjin 117 Building is currently the tallest structure building in China; Shenzhen Hanjing Financial Center is now the highest all-steel structure in the world; the main building of new CCTV complex is the world ’s largest steel structure office building and the largest singlesteel structure in China; Shenzhen Ping An Financial Center has been certified as the World ’s HighestOffice Building; when constructing Shenzhen Diwang Building and Guangzhou International Financial Center (West Tower), the company has set new world records in building high-rise buildings by completing “one floor in two and half days” and “one floor in two days”. CCSIC has formed transportation terminals series represented by Shenzhen Airport Terminal 3, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Wuhan Railway Station, and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Travel Inspection Building, etc.;the exhibition venue series represented by the Shenzhen World Exhibition and ConventionCenter, venue of the 7th CISM Military World Games, Western China (Chengdu) International Expo Center and Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center; super high-rise steel structures represented by Shenzhen Hanjing Financial Center and CITIC Tower; the series of cultural service facilities represented by Xiong’an Citizens Service Center and Dunhuang Grand Theatre; the highway and bridge series represented by Dingshan Yangtze River Bridge in Jiangjin of Chongqing and Wuhan Jianghan Bridge VI; the power engineering series represented by Taishan Nuclear Power Plant and Ling’ao Nuclear Power Plant; and overseas project series represented by Abu Dhabi International Airport and Great Mosque of Algiers.

    CSCEC Science and Industry, by highlighting technological innovation, has established high-level research institute and design institute toform a complete R&D design system. In recent years, CCSIC, in active response to China’s appeal to supply-side structural reform in the construction industry, has adhered to the concept of “making city life better”. While maintaining its advantages in traditional steel-structure buildings, the company has developed the “steel structure+” new product series on its own in green fabricated buildings, smart parking garages, and urban slow-moving systems in the fields of infrastructures and fabricated buildings. These products are successfully applied in Beijing, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu and other places, gaining wonderful response. Among them, the China-PNG Friendship School - Butuka Academy project contracted by the company in the EPC model fully utilized the advantages of prefabricated steel structure and the advantages of the entire industry chain, which won the high praise of the Chinese and PNG governments. The Chinese President Xi Jinping and PNG Prime Minister O'Neill attended the opening ceremony of Butuka School. The Xiamen Sky Bike Expressway designed and constructed by the company won the 2017 China Habitat Environment Award for its unique planning creativity and green & harmonious design philosophy. The Chengdu Jincheng Greenway invested by the company relies on the design philosophy of “One Bridge& One Scenery” to upgrade the Jincheng Greenway from a road to an “ecological, cultural, intelligent, healthy and economical” greenway. The new generation of parking products independently developed by the company, the new energy bus dimensional garage, provides a bright solution to the construction of the “public transport city”. In this way, the city appearance becomes neat and tidy, the green travel becomes the norm, and the depot and station management are safe and efficient. The citizens can now enjoy a better life.

At present, the company has received one National Technology Invention Award, eight National Science and Technology Progress Awards (including Theory, Technology and Engineering Application of High-rise Steel-Concrete Compound Structure won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award), 15 Zhan Tianyou Awards, 898 national-level patents in China (including 131 invention patents), 26 PCT international patent applications (including two US invention patents, andnine German patents), 15 national-level construction methods, and 104 construction technologies that have been certified by authoritative organizations to reach international leading or international advanced level. The company has worked as the Editor-in-Chief and Co-editor of 30 national standards and industrial standards including Large-Span Steel Structure Construction Technology, Super High-Rise Steel Structure Construction Technology, and Building Engineering Construction BIM Application Guide (Second Edition). Besides, it has won 39 Luban Awards for Construction Projects, 32 National Quality Engineering Awards, and 163 Chinese Steel Structure Gold Awards (including four Outstanding Awards).
